Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born in the west. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and wants to raise his children well

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Mercenary father left him crippled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
