History: Gorbundus lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Salasar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ethereal grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now owns her own business.
