History: She was born in the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
