History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Stableman, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barkeep responsibilities is difficult.
