History: Born in the south to a Carter, Verna learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: Berrian is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Berrian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Knight and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and balancing his hectic life and new knight responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Spear was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Spear abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
