Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She takes great joy in being the best Detective in town.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Detective, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Thamuz will drive conversation. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thamuz was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull violet iron scale mail. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Dalgal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears bulky white painted plate armor. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. The war was a terrible time for her, and Saphara does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Slave Trader. She has achieved small success as a Slave Trader.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
