History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Body Guard mother left her crippled. During her travels, Ulla and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ulla discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ulla fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Thiala was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
