History: Tordek hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tordek grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tordek. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out.
