Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shifting's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Shifting is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shifting was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears an entirely brown suit with grey socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the east were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Murook was born with her mother's beautiful face. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people.

Her deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Jeweler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Jeweler work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing her hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Her hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. Her violet eyes peer out from beneath her Stetson red hat.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
