History: He was born in the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. River grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did River. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: She wears a white feathered hat and white clothes. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her longbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. She wears her chestnut hair up. Her brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Tyna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Tyna was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He prefers to wear blue pants and tee shirts. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the north to a Healer, Zook learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her red hair is braided into rings. Her eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Rosamund was taken on many hunting expeditions. Through the years after Rosamund was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rosamund's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rosamund and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
