Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. River grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did River. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Marastyr was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She worked as a nervous Apothecary and found it very stressful. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Apothecary for the past few years.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and balancing her hectic life and new apothecary responsibilities is difficult
