Through the years after Vorka was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Vorka's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ortegar will drive conversation. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She got into the Herbalist business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a Herbalist soon after.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
