History: The child of a Butcher, who enjoyed hunting, Veloptima was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zephan grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in whip use. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Morkral speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Isabella was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is her passion
