History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Shepherd father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Althaea was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Althaea alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to get a good night's sleep

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.
