History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with her Carter father left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Marbas was born with his mother's beautiful face. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
