History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Hatae liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Barakas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her hair is long and golden with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small white clips. Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her broad white hat.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Murook was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After months of barely getting by, Murook managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.
