Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Criella lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Her hair is long and white with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small blue clips. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Barber born in the past three hundred years. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She got into the Barber business at a young age. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. His crest is gold and very short. He has red eyes and a black hat with a white feather.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Azzakh was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Azzakh was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Azzakh decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Calcitro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
