He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She bought a longbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
