Personality: Hatae wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a black collared shirt and brown pants. He accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Zepar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Zepar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Zepar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his father's many stories. Arnold abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
