Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and retire the richest woman in the north

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Tricking hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
