Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Matilda was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Chad's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Bricklayer. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has achieved small success as a Bricklayer.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by her family; and money/treasure
