History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a ruler and was forced into it by his family

In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion
