Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She hates Dwarves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Riswynn lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. Eldon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Eldon was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
