History: Jak hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Jezebeth was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She bought a lance and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Umpen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
