History: She was born in the east. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Diesa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and doesn't want to be a bowyer and was forced into it by her family
