Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Gillyd was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to protect her home

Description: He is a husky man, who dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with blue slacks. He wears a colorful flower in his silver hair. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Dyer profession.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull grey iron scale mail. He carries with him a set of greatswords, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born in the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Rolen's homeland. Rolen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. She keeps her auburn hair in a flapper bob. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to get a good night's sleep
