Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Nikki was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Cora was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
