Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hatae was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He is in excellent shape and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His silver eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Barakas grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Being a Barkeep kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mayor. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Alvyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he loathes his own lifestyle
