History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired him part-time. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Astar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
