History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Berrian was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Weaver. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Berrian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has all her life been fascinated with poetry.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ilanis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ilanis. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hûra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
