History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker mother left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Uzza lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student she started as a Seamstress, but she got bored and became a Sellsword. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and many giants want her driven away

Description: She has a missing left leg. She wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. Her brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 58. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and seeks redemption

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and he seems to be bored by most things
