Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Layabout and occasionally as a mercenary.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in a small plains village. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Gifted from a young age, Theriatis studied abroad. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Description: A 6'1" eastern woman, she prefers to wear flannel. Her crest is white and curly. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Miner but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Pyxrin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Pyxrin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor she uses now. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears an entirely red suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He wears a colorful flower in his white hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure.
