After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her first spouse was a Mercenary, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Drogo hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against goblins

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He got into the Crown-heir business at a young age. Morthos was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Morthos decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Crown-heir for the past few years.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
