Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelaide grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelaide. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. A gifted student she started as a Carter, but she got bored and became a Herbalist. She has worked as a Herbalist like her mother before her.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: An older man who typically wears blue cloth garments or leather armor, he is not a threatening figure. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Aerdeth lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. Ahlyssa enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Ahlyssa was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she seems to be bored by most things
