Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Varis was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.
