Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Blacksmith, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to be a bellfounder again

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Dyer who has hired him part-time. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Quarion was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
