History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: She got into the Sage business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Miller, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Lilli was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. William was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions
