History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cask was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She bought a longsword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Half-Elves. Her skin is light but she possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty yellow coat over it. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. She has amber eyes and a yellow hat with a tan feather.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Quelenna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Quelenna never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tattered old clothes. He has red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Gimgen is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He is physically well-built. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Hunter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
