Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 4'9". He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a glaive on his belt, and his gloved hand is found clutching a glaive. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Body Guard job and began his own company from there.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Patrin hails from a village terrorized by drow. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: This woman wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered black stockings, and sports empty pouches on her belt. She is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around her ears. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born in the south. Her first spouse was a Baker, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Cartwright, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He worked as a nervous Tailor and found it very stressful. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To be a Detective again; and he's looking for his big break
