Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Art enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her first spouse was a Fletcher, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: She very much looks the part of a Cartwright. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her axe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. She has no hair. Her blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She became a Cartwright soon after.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 2'11" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized red coat. She keeps her long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Philomena was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Philomena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
