History: Calcitro lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by his family

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
