He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mehen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She got into the Knight business at a young age. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
