History: Born in the north to a Spy, Zook learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Spy kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a Brewer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
