A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears dull blue sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed club, just in case. She has dyed her greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her childhood dream was to be a Brewer, but she was a colossal failure. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her blue hair is long and unkept. Her white eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Manea is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Manea was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Dondon will drive conversation. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dondon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dondon. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Shaena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Ploughman, and she later adopted a second daughter.
