Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Bricklayer, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
