History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Merla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Emerald wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-orc people
