Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. After coming to the age of reason, Beatrice took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Matilda embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Masseuse. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Emerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
