Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sapply was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Sapply was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Sapply's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Through the years after Shax was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shax's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He is fixated on the number 88. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
