History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Quick hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Quick has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Born to a Brewer, her father struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is wearing a long, brown cloak. His red hair is lengthy. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gardain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
