Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the north to a Server, Shadow learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Server for hire.

Description: 6'7" and muscular, this southern man has the majority of his body covered in plate. His gold crest is braided into rings. He has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Dadalan has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A 5'5" eastern woman, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her fur, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and to end her boredom

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'4" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her green robe. Sporting a chestnut mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Mardnab is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Mardnab was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mardnab grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mardnab. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: He wears an entirely blue suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has no hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
